MOVEMENT CONTROLS Left Button Point the cursor and click the left button to move your character Wheel (Up - Down) Zoom-in and Zoom-out of camera view. Wheel Button Move the mouse while pressing the right button to change the screen view direction. Right Button Move the mouse while pressing the right button to change the screen view direction. Right Button - Left Button It sets AUTO-RUN. Click the button again to turn it off. 2. COMBAT CONTROL Left Button It targets the chosen monster. Click continuously on the left button to auto-attack until the monster dies. While auto-attacking, the player can change the target and do auto-attacking by clicking on another monster. Right Button With a right-click on a monster at a distance, the character moves into attack range, then starts auto-attacking. Character Information Character info Press "C" on the keyboard to display the Character Information window. 1. Character Information Shows your character Name, Class, Level and Fame Points. 2. Equipment Shows the equipment that your character is currently wearing. You can drag and drop equipment from your inventory to this area, and vice versa. 3. Status This area shows attributes related to your character such as its attack power, defence and resistances against elements. Inventory Inventory Press "I" to open your character's Inventory window. Every character gets five inventory bags and each one has 15 slots for holding your items. For items such as weapons and armor that you wear, you can either click and drag them from the Inventory to the Character window, or you can simply right click on them to equip. Consumable items such as potions or forces, can be dragged on to the Quick Slots bar for easy access during your battles. 1. Name of the Inventory 2. Press "F" to open the Friends List window. Adding friends to your friends list makes it more convinenent for you to invite them to your party, whisper them, or send them a clan invite. 1. Friends list - shows which friends are online, their current level, job and current location. 2. Display only online 3. Add friend 4. Delete friend 5. Whisper friend 6. Party invite 7. Clan invite 8. Friend list tab 9. BLock list tab Click on the Block list tab to block another player from whispering you. Party Party Partying with others is sometimes the best way to overcome difficult challenges and level-up faster! Playing in a party earns participating players shared experience from defeating monsters. Players can also choose for items dropped during party play to be distributed amongst the party. 1 - Invite to Party Right-click the status bar of a chosen user to bring up the user options menu. Select "Invite Party" from this menu. 2 - Leave Party Select "Leave Party" from the user options window. 3 - Party Leader Select "Authorizing Party Leader" from the user options window to hand over party leader authority to another player. 4 - Kick a Player from Party Select "Expel Party" from the user options window. 5 - Party Looting Preferences Select "Set Party Looting" from the user options window to set the distribution mode for items dropped while in party play. You will be given three (3) options: Method Description Free for All Players race to pick up dropped items. Round Items are distributed evenly amongst the party. Random Items are distributed randomly amongst the party. Once a looting preference has been selected, the change will be reflected in the system message window. Trade Trade To trade items with other players click on them to cause their Target Status to appear first. Then right click on the player's target status to bring up the follow menu as you see below. Click on "Trade" to ask that person to trade. If you were the one being asked to trade with another player, then you would see the request to trade appear on the bottom right of the screen. Click on this message to open the Comfirmation box. Click "Yes" if you want to trade with this person. Once the request to trade has been accepted then bost players will see the trade window. Drag items that you want to give to the other player from your inventory to the trade window. The top half of the trade window is what the other player is giving you, and the bottom half is what you want to give in exchange. If you have a stack of items and only want to trade away certain quantity, then hold hold Shift key on your keyboard while you drag and drop the item. You will be asked how many you want to transfer. Once you are sure the items to be exchanged on the Trade window is correct than click on the "Trade" button and the traded items will be locked in. You'll know when the exchange has been locked in when you see your trade of the trade window now has a blue outline. When the other player accepts the trade then the exchange will be completed. Skill System Skill system Skills can be obtained from the Skill window. To open the skill window click on the “My Info.” menu and choose “Skill” or use the shortcut key ‘K’. More skills become available to you as you advance in profession and level up. To learn skills you must spend skill points which are earned by levelling up your character. A skill must have at least one skill point spent on it to be unlocked. Certain skills are active skills, which require you to drag the skill icon from the skill window onto your Quick Slots Bar for easy use. Other skills may be passive, meaning that they are always active and don’t require any activation on your own part as long as they have been unlocked. When you have skill points to spend, press the + on a skill to increase it’s level. Hover the mouse over the skill icon to see its current ability compared to the ability it provides for the next level if you spent another skill point to it. Special items such as the Calligraphy of Oblivion or the Unstable Calligraphy of Oblivion, can be used to take back skill points you invested before. The Calligraphy of Oblivion resets all skill points. While it is in your inventory, press “Reset” button on the Skill window to reset all skills. When you have one Unstable Calligraphy of Oblivion, you can use the minus button on any skill from the Skill window to take back one point. Chat Channels Chat channels Chat channels allow users to speak together from anywhere even if they’re not in the same party, clan or map location. To open the list of Chat Channels, look for the Chatting Channels from the Community menu, or press the shortcut ‘B’ on the keyboard to open the window. From here we can join a default channel, create our own new channel, or attend an existing one. To create our own channel, click on the “Create” button and you will be asked to enter a name for the channel. Lets create a channel named “Priston Tale 2”. Once created a message appears in the center of the screen to tell us that the channel has been created. The number on the left of the channel name is the number we’ll have to remember to speaking into this channel. In the below example we see that this channel 1 for us. The channel number depends on the order in which you created or attend channels after logging in. Since this is channel 1, we can start speaking into the channel by using: /1 Hello! If we joined more than one channel, then remember the number you saw when you joined, in order to speak to the users in that channel. To leave a channel, open the Chat Channel window again, click on the channel you no longer want to communicate with and press the “Leave” button. Look Change Look change The Look Change system allows you to change the model of your armour pieces or weapon. This allows you to select the fashion of armour that you prefer while maintaining its original stats and level requirement. You may also change your look in order to hide the true strength from opposing players in PvP. To open the Look Change window, open the “My Info.” menu and click on “Look Change”. You can also use the shortcut key ‘T’ to open the window. Have your armour ready in your character’s inventory and drag them to the matching item type in the Look Change window. For each piece of equipment you want to change, you will need one Look change coupon. Place the armours into the Look Change window with the Look change coupons. Once they’re in place you can select the armour model you want to change them to. You can choose the model from any armour which has a lower level requirement than the original armour. The image on the right shows how you will look. Once you’re satisfied with the new look, press Save and confirm that you want to make this change. Once saved, the look change coupons will be used. Items that have had their appearance changed will receive a golden S in their inventory icon. These items can only be used by your character now. To unlink it from your character, you will need the item Mirror - Unlink Soul Item Mirror - Unlink Soul Item This item must be used to unlink the "soul item" from its current owner, so it can be used by a new character. It also resets the information of changet changed outfit.
